Color Folk was born out of a simple problem: choosing outfits for family photoshoots. Like so many moms, I wanted my family to look coordinated and beautiful without being too matchy. What should have been fun often turned into late-night scrolling, overshopping, and last-minute stress.

That curiosity led me into styling, color theory, and photography — and eventually photographers started asking me to style their clients, too. The more I worked with families, the more I saw how powerful color was in creating images that told a story.

Hi, I’m Kristin — the creator of Color Folk. I took my passion even further and became certified in color analysis, helping people discover the palettes that made them look and feel their best. Watching clients light up when they saw their colors for the first time was magic.

But I also noticed a problem. Many clients loved their palettes but struggled to actually wear them. Shopping still felt overwhelming. Closets still felt mismatched. And the excitement of their analysis faded when they didn’t know how to put it all into practice.

That’s why I created Color Folk — to bridge the gap between discovering your palette and living in it. This is where you’ll find tools, resources, and inspiration to make color simple and joyful — not stressful.

Because color isn’t just about what looks good. It’s about what makes you feel confident, authentic, and fully yourself.
